Internships

Spend your summer taking on real responsibility as part of one of our teams. Summer analysts have a voice at Alpine and we’re excited to see what you’re capable of. Whether you’re joining a management meeting with one of our portfolio companies, working on a deal alongside our investing team, or learning by doing alongside one of Alpine’s partners, gain real professional experience with support from those who want to see you succeed.

Alpine hosts two internship programs for juniors entering their senior year – one program on our Investing team and one on the Sourcing team. These programs are based at our Headquarters in San Francisco and typically run for 10 weeks in the summer. If you have ever been curious to learn more about what it takes to grow a business, how to think like an Investor, and get the opportunity to drive real impact, then these roles will be perfect for you.

Many of Alpine’s portfolio companies also host their own summer internships – these opportunities span across M&A, Sourcing, and general Operations. If you have ever been curious to work inside of a fast-growing business and learn more about day-to-day operations, then these opportunities will be perfect for you. Each company has its own unique industry, team, and founding story, so be sure to look through their respective roles while you’re determining which is the best fit for you! George studies Economics and Operations Research/Management Science at UC Berkeley. Prior to Alpine, George worked at an asset management firm and as a consultant for a hedge fund in the Bay Area.

Courtney is studying Economics and Public Policy at Stanford University, where she is Co-President of Stanford Women in Business. Previously, she worked in equity capital markets and for her state senator. She was part of Alpine’s 2019 intern class and is excited return full-time in 2020.

The most remarkable thing about Alpine is everyone’s sincere interest in watching you succeed, both in the office and in your personal life. Learning and growth come naturally when so many people have your back.

Liam is studying Commerce and English at the University of Virginia. He’s originally from Rhode Island, and will be joining the Alpine team full time in 2020.

As a CEO-in-Residence (CIR) you’ll have the autonomy to lead with the backing of Alpine’s proven playbook. Execute an M&A strategy with support from our sourcing team, hire a team with the support of our in-house talent team, and connect with other CEOs and executives as you navigate business decisions. We’ll partner with you to find your next company to operate. 

Accelerate your career trajectory with leadership opportunities as a CEO-in-Training (CIT) in our portfolio companies. We’re dedicated to accelerating career paths, and over 40 of our CITs have already graduated into CEO positions. Whether you join as a CEO from day one, or begin in an executive role at one of our companies, you’ll gain the trust and encouragement to tap into your strengths and make a real impact.
