President, Whipple Service Champions
Ian Goldberg is the President of Whipple Service Champions, an Apex Service Partners company. Previously, Ian worked for Sam Zell’s Equity Group Investments (EGI). At EGI, Ian served as an associate on both the real estate and corporate investments teams. Ian holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Tufts University, where he was a four-year member of the Varsity Baseball Team.
Corporate Development personnel and CEOs-in-Training are recruited by Alpine and deployed to work in the portfolio companies. They are compensated by the portfolio companies and are not Alpine employees.
